In this picture I tried to convey hope. The subject is playing " He loves me, he loves me not" with this rose.  She is hoping that they outcome is turns out well.

In this picture, I tried to convey being trapped. Almost trying to escape. The subject is reaching for something, anything really.

Hand photos that inspire me

I really love this photo and how it uses photoshop to really capture a message and really push it over the top.

I reallly like the lighting and how grimey the hands look. It potrays the message well and it's very bold.

My plan is to take two low key photos with two very unique messages, and one using alot of photoshop manipulation.

My Attempt

Maiya is the subject, I used the natural ligthing outside. For the composition I just tried to get mostly the subject and small amount of negative space. I used a 1/250 shutter speed.

The subject is the paintbrush, I turned off all the lights and did light painting. I tried to incorprate a more interesting backround. I used a 20 second shutter speed and 100 ISO.
