The subject is the paintbrush, I turned off all the lights and did light painting. I tried to incorprate a more interesting backround. I used a 20 second shutter speed and 100 ISO.
I really likie the attempt at the actual picture. There are a bit more props in your attempt then the look you are going for but i actually like that more then the plain black backround. I kindof wish the brush had more of a glow to it, like the picture above but i really like the green paint and the glossy reflection it gives off. The balance in your picture is really nice everything is really perpotioned. Overall, i really like your picture(:
